Point of Sale Solution now available to PharmacyRx customers

The Point of Sale Solution is a centralized, cloud-delivered system that allows you to manage sales transactions, inventory, pricing and promotions in a single store or across multiple sites.

The POS Solution provides a quick, accurate and secure checkout experience. Features include:

• Multiple payment options, including credit, debit, FSA/HSA cards and gift cards

• Access to centralized inventory database for easier inventory management

• Wholesaler product load and price file updating

• Extensive reporting capabilities for a single site and across multiple sites

• Certified for the most up-to-date PA-DSS and IIAS industry security standards

In the coming weeks, MPS&A will conduct a maintenance event to add the following enhancement to the POS Solution:

Payroll Deduction

The POS Solution will now allow employees to deduct store purchases directly from their paychecks. Your payroll department will be able to save reports in a CSV, Excel or PDF format to process deductions, analyze purchases and update employee lists for authorization. The POS Solution will tender payroll transactions and track purchases accordingly.

Payroll deduction will be available for no additional charge in the base package of the POS Solution. Please contact MPS&A Customer Support for assistance with configuring this feature to function with your POS system.

Java Version 7.71 Required

The POS Solution supports Java 7.71. If you are on an earlier version of Java, you need to update your environment to version 7.71 in order to support the most current release of the POS application. The POS Solution application will not function without the Java 7.71 update.

In the summer of 2016, the POS Solution will offer a wide range of new payment technology capabilities from Cayan (www.cayan.com), a leading payment technology provider. The Cayan Genius® Customer Engagement Platform® will include:

• Seamless gateway connectivity to leading U.S. processors

• Integrated EMV chip compliance technology

• NFC payment processing capability (i.e., Apple Pay, Google Wallet, Samsung Pay)
