EnterpriseRx now supports both inbound and outbound RDS (Pharmacy Dispense Message) message types via the HL7 interface.  Healthcare systems use RDS messages to share prescription dispensing information across disparate systems. Inbound support allows EnterpriseRx to receive medication histories and outbound support allows EnterpriseRx to send medication information to partner systems, such as an inpatient hospital system or a health information exchange (HIE).
